Privacy Policy

Thank you for using Sequence: Card Board Game ("we", "our", or "us"), made by Stratza Games. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our Android app, play in the browser, or visit sequence.stratzagames.com.

1. Information We Collect

a. Personal Information

• If you sign in with Google: your name, email address and profile photo
• If you sign in with Facebook: your name, email address and profile photo (from your public profile)
• The playing name you choose in the app
• A profile photo, only if you choose to upload one from your device's photo gallery

b. Anonymous Information

• Guest users may play without providing personal details
• We may assign a unique identifier to support gameplay

c. Game Data

• Game progress, moves, scores, and session data
• Coins, levels, rewards, achievements, statistics and tournament entries

d. Device Information

• Device type, OS version, and app version
• Crash logs and performance data
• Your approximate country, determined from your IP address (used for the country flag on leaderboards)
• A push notification token, only if you allow notifications

e. Advertising Data

• The app offers optional rewarded video ads (for example, watching a short video to earn in-game coins). Ads are only shown when you choose to watch one.
• To show these ads, Google AdMob may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address (used to estimate general location), device information, and how you interact with the ads.

f. Purchases

• On Android you can buy optional coin packs. Payment is handled entirely by Google Play; we never see your card or payment details.
• We receive the details needed to confirm a purchase and add your coins: the product bought, the order ID, the purchase time and country, and Google Play's purchase token.

g. Website Data

• sequence.stratzagames.com uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. Advertising cookies are turned off on the website.
• Our hosting provider (Firebase Hosting, by Google) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver and protect the site.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Enable gameplay and multiplayer functionality
• Identify users and maintain sessions
• Show your playing name, profile photo, country flag and scores to other players on leaderboards and in multiplayer games
• Send game notifications (for example daily rewards and tournaments), if you allow them
• Improve app performance and stability
• Fix bugs and monitor usage trends
• Show optional rewarded video ads, grant their rewards, and measure ad performance
• Verify purchases and add the coins you bought

3. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate the app and website:

Firebase (by Google)

• Authentication (Google Sign-In, Facebook Login, Anonymous login)
• Cloud Firestore / Realtime Database (game data)
• Cloud Storage (profile photos you upload)
• Cloud Messaging (push notifications)
• Analytics, Crash Reporting and Performance Monitoring
• Hosting (the website and browser game)

Firebase may collect and process data according to its own privacy policies.

Facebook Login (by Meta)

• Used only if you choose to sign in with Facebook. Meta shares your name, email address and profile photo with us, and processes data according to the Meta Privacy Policy.

Google Play Games Services and Google Play Billing (Android)

• Used for achievements, leaderboards and coin purchases, according to the Google Privacy Policy.

Country lookup services

• To show your country flag, the app sends a request to an IP-based country lookup service (country.is or GeoJS), which receives your IP address and returns only your country.

Google AdMob (by Google)

• Serves the optional rewarded video ads in the app
• May use your device's advertising ID and cookies or similar technologies to show ads, including personalised ads where permitted, and to limit how often you see the same ad
• Users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before personalised ads are shown
• Your data is shared with Google for advertising; see how Google uses personal data at Google's Business Data Responsibility site

Google Analytics (website)

• Measures visits to sequence.stratzagames.com, as described in section 1g.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal data.

• Your playing name, profile photo, country flag and game statistics are visible to other players (for example on leaderboards and in multiplayer games)
• Data may be shared with Firebase to provide app functionality
• If you sign in with Facebook, sign-in data is exchanged with Meta
• Advertising data may be shared with Google AdMob and its advertising partners to show and measure ads
• Data may be shared if required by law

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children’s Privacy

Our app is not specifically directed toward children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Your Choices

• You can play as a guest without providing personal information
• Watching ads is optional; you can play the full game without watching any
• Buying coins is optional; you can play the full game without paying
• You can reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your device settings (on Android: Settings > Google > Ads, or Settings > Privacy > Ads)
• If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you can change your ad consent choice at any time from "Ad privacy settings" in the app's Watch & Earn screen
• You can turn off push notifications at any time in your device settings
• You can block or delete website cookies in your browser settings
• You can change or remove your uploaded profile photo in the app
• If you are signed in, you can delete your account and associated data in the app: tap your profile picture or avatar, choose "Delete account", then confirm with "Delete Forever". You can also ask us to delete it by emailing us at the address below, and we will do so within 30 days. See sequence.stratzagames.com/delete-account for what is deleted and what is kept.
• You may stop using the app at any time

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be reflected with a new "Last updated" date.
